Katarina Bivald is a consultant in politics and social commitment/responsibility. We do evaluations, pilot studies, reports and lectures for non-governmental organization, corporations, activists and completely (extra)ordinary people, concerning issues like gender queality, anti-racism and increased participation and commitment.
About Katarina Bivald
Katarina Bivald has studied sociology and political science at Stockholm University, Sweden, and has a strong background in non-governmental organizations, especially the Swedish Red Cross (Youth). Katarina has worked - in theory and practice, so to speak – with issues concerning gender equality, lesbian and gay rights, diversity and increased participation and commitment.
My formal education has given me the ability to quickly overview new fields and gather, analyze and present information. A competense relevant when doing evalutaions, pilot studies and policy documents. My voluntary work has given me a deep knowledge of the more human aspects of introducing organizational change, and a deep understanding of civil society’s importance and situation today. Both has, in its own way, taught me to respect people’s agency, and how to find ways to encourage it.
